The Stupid Thing I Did Today

Let me preface this by saying that I've been sick and this cold has completely kicked my ass. I'm pretty much over it except for being extremely tired ALL the TIME. Even though I sleep a shit load, I'll get up and be like I want to take a nap.

So this morning, I got up for work, and walked out of my apartment. I turned back to face my front door and hit the lock button on my car key as if that would somehow work on my apartment door. Then to make matters worse when I didn't hear a clicking door locking sound, I did it again. Only then did I realize what a tired idiot I was.

In semi-related news, Danielle's new job at the casino has kicked into full gear. She hasn't really totally adjusted to the 3am - noon shift yet and I've discovered that extremely tired Danielle is almost as amusing on the phone as extremely drunk Danielle (though there's less profanity involved). It's especially funny when you get her confused about what day it is.
